Schengen Standard: 35 ร 45 mm Dimensions
All 29 Schengen member countries (including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Switzerland) enforce identical biometric specifications defined by the European Commission:
- Dimensions: Exactly 35 mm wide by 45 mm high.
- Head Proportion: Chin to crown must measure between 32 mm and 36 mm (covering 70% to 80% of total height).
- Background: Light grey (#E8E8E8) or off-white is preferred over harsh pure white.
- Resolution: 300 DPI minimum (413 ร 531 pixels).
