The CEAC portal enforces precise validation. Requirements include:
- JPEG/JPG format under 240 KB
- Square aspect ratio (600x600 pixels preferred)
- Plain white background
- Neutral expression, facing the camera directly

- Take a passport-style photo against a white wall.

- Upload and confirm the 600x600 px square crop.
- Download and run it through the official US State Department photo validator.
